We implemented a comprehensive safety program consisting of pre-project planning, management committment, site visits as well as training in first aid and CPR for all of our foremen.  Now, with trained OSHA 30 (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) electricians on board, our obligation to completing projects injury-free continues to be a platform for success.  Pre-fabrication and testing of materials is an additional safety procedure we take that reduces the risk of unexpected occurrences on the job site.  This commitment to safety has earned us a Blue Level Award, the highest OSHA safety rating. 


Additionally, Boz electricians participate in safety related work practices such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) training.

NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 70E-2004 Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace

While constantly working with electrical units, the possibility of coming in direct contact with live energy becomes more probable.  To understand and avoid the risk associated with this, Boz electricians have completed the above mentioned safety seminar. 


One method used to steer clear of this unfortunate occurrence, is through the use of PPE, Personal Protection Equipment.  PPE is worn over the face, eyes and body when there is danger of injury due to arcs, flashes or flying objects resulting from an electrical explosion. 


Likewise, when performing work on electrical circuits or equipment that may be exposed to energized parts, insulation is mandatory according to the NFPA/OSHA electrical standards.  Seeing the value in safeguarding against these happenings ultimately ensures safety to Boz employees and safety on all job sites.  To learn more about the NFPA please visit: www.nfpa.org
